 Assalamualaikum....
guys gals, Alhamdulillah insyaallah blog ini mungkin bisa aktif kembali,, Yayyyy.. akhirnya mimin keterima di UPI jurusan Sastra inggris,, nahh.. mimin belajar banyak disana, mulai dari Dasar Literatur, writing, speaking, dan lain lain. Yang paling menyenangkan yaitu saat mata kuliah writing, waktu itu saya di tugaskan untuk mengarang recount text, descriptive text, dan procedure text.

Nah untuk episode kali ini, Ciee episode...

NO MONEY NO SERVICES

          It was about two months ago, my family and my neighbor had an electricity problem (blackout). I wasn`t worried about it because I thought it was just a rolling blackout. Rolling blackout is the government method to save electricity power and fuel for the generator and it usually takes 2 – 5 hours.

So I decided to go to my friend`s house to play guitar together. I felt a weird thing there, from the outside I could see his TV was turned on but in my house it was still blackout, so I asked him about this case and he said that the electricity line between my house and my friend house was different.

            The day got dark but it was still blackout, so I went to a stall to buy some candles. Without electricity my house was like a warehouse, it was dark and silent. After pray isha, my mother decided to call customer services and reported the problem. The customer service said that the blackout was caused by network problem and it would be done tomorrow, so my mother hung up the phone and told the neighbor about this. Next day I wanted to take a bath but there was no water in the basin because the water pump couldn`t operate if there was no electricity, so I decided to draw water from a well manually. It was tiring enough for me to fill up the basin.

            The situation made my neighbor confused, so he called the electrician to fix the problem but the electrician couldn`t come because he had a lot of thing to do. My neighbor was clever, He persuaded the electrician with money. After an hour, the electrician came to my house. He asked my mother about the problem, and then he left my house to check the electric box. He climbed up to the pole to check the problem. Then he came down and told us the problem and he said that the cable was broken because of the wind, so he said that tomorrow he would come to fix the cable. We were happy to hear that because electricity was important to make our life easier.

            The electrician made a fake promise. He didn`t come to fix the problem. We had waited for 5 days, but he didn`t come. My neighbor called the electrician once again. Then the electrician said that he didn`t have the suitable tools to fix the problem, But my neighbor forced him to come. After 2 hours waiting, he came and brought a few tools. He said that he could fix the problem, but the electricity would be spanning for a while. Spanning is a moment when your electricity power is below normal because of something and it make your electric goods unused. At that time, I couldn`t use the electric goods but at least our house wasn`t dark anymore. Then the electrician fixed the cable and the electricity became spanning. We came back home and continued our activity.

            After 2 weeks, the electricity was still spanning. My neighbor called the electrician again and said that he would pay the electrician for the services. So, he came with his team and brought a complex tool to fix the electricity box. Then, after it was finished we gave the electrician team food, drinks and money. Finally, our electricity problem was ended. From that incident we can see the government worker especially electricians need to be more responsive because the citizen need to be served. As the consuments, citizen need to be patient and don’t need to pay with money, just serve them with food or something edible as usual.
